A Warm Welcome Always: Our Favourite Regulars, Pauline and Irene

There are two faces you can always count on seeing in the Promenade Bar, usually with a glass of Pinot Grigio in hand, and always with a smile.

Pauline and Irene have been visiting us since the day we first opened our doors, and they’ve been part of the Daffodil family ever since. Rain or shine, you can rely on these two lovely ladies to pop in, say hello, and brighten the room the moment they walk through the door.

True Liverpool locals and wonderfully chatty, Pauline and Irene never fail to bring a bit of warmth and laughter with them. Whether they’re catching up with the team behind the bar, sharing stories, or simply enjoying a quiet glass together, they make the place feel that little bit more welcoming.

Over time, they’ve become more than just regulars; they’re part of the heartbeat of the bar. Their friendly faces, quick wit, and easy conversation are something both staff and customers have come to look forward to. It wouldn’t quite feel like a normal day without seeing them settled in with their wine and a good natter.

We’re incredibly lucky to have customers like Pauline and Irene who have supported us from the very beginning. They remind us that great hospitality isn’t just about the service; it’s about our wonderful guests who visit and fill the venue with life.
