Introducing our New Head Chef
This latest chapter has been led by our new Head Chef, Matt.
After almost a year as part of The Daffodil team, Matt has stepped into the role of Head Chef, bringing more than ten years of experience from some of Liverpool’s best-known kitchens.
His approach is simple: quality ingredients, bold flavours and dishes that people genuinely want to come back for. His influence can already be seen throughout the new menu, blending modern seasonal cooking with the comforting favourites that have become synonymous with The Daffodil.

While some things have changed, plenty has stayed the same.
Our ever-popular Daffodil Fish & Chips remains a firm favourite, while an exciting collection of new dishes brings a lighter, more seasonal feel to the menu.
From creamy Burrata with Heritage Tomatoes and our Roast Beef & Chimichurri Focaccia to Hot Smoked Salmon with crisp lemon and fennel salad, there’s plenty to discover. We’ve also answered one of our most requested questions by bringing back the much-loved Daffodil Club Sandwich.
